Scoring
Archery has a number of different scoring systems that are used depending on the discipline and round being shot, they mostly all work on the principle of aiming at a round target and gaining more points for hitting closer to the centre, with variations on the number of points and/or scoring zones. All archery works on the principle of inward scoring, the arrow scores the highest value for any zone that it touches, with the line between two zones counting as the higher value. so in effect a line toucher scores the higher value even if it is 99% in the lower one.
